Do you KNOW Jesus Christ?

And to the angel of the church of Sardis write: ‘The words of Him who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars. “I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but YOU ARE DEAD. WAKE UP, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of My God. Remember, then, what you received and heard. KEEP IT, and REPENT. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you. Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. The ONE WHO CONQUERS will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the Book of Life. I will confess him before My Father and before His angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’ (Revelation 3:1-6)

Are you CONQUERING?

Revelation 3:5 states, “The one WHO CONQUERS will be clothed thus in white garments, and I WILL NEVER BLOT HIS NAME OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE. I will confess him before My Father and before His angels.”

But when a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice and does the same abominations that the wicked person does, shall he live? NONE OF THE RIGHTEOUS DEEDS THAT HE HAS DONE SHALL BE REMEMBERED; for the treachery of which he is guilty and the sin he has committed, for them he shall die. (Ezekiel 18:24)

You shall love the LORD your God with ALL your heart and with ALL your soul and with ALL your might. (Deuteronomy 6:5)

Do you?

For who were those who HEARD and YET REBELLED? Was it not all those who left Egypt led by Moses? And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who SINNED, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? And to whom did he swear that they WOULD NOT ENTER HIS REST, but to those who WERE DISOBEDIENT? So we see that they were UNABLE TO ENTER because of UNBELIEF. (Hebrews 3:16-19)

….WORK OUT your own salvation with fear and trembling… (Philippians 2:12)

Are you?

“If anyone would come after Me, let him DENY HIMSELF and TAKE UP HIS CROSS DAILY and FOLLOW ME.” (Luke 9:23)

For if we GO ON SINNING DELIBERATELY AFTER RECEIVING THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH, there NO LONGER REMAINS A SACRIFICE FOR SINS, but a FEARFUL EXPECTATION OF JUDGMENT, and a FURY OF FIRE THAT WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES. Anyone who has SET ASIDE THE LAW OF MOSES dies WITHOUT MERCY on the evidence of two or three witnesses. How much worse PUNISHMENT, do you think, will be DESERVED by the one who has TRAMPLED UNDERFOOT THE SON OF GOD, and has PROFANED THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT BY WHICH HE WAS SANCTIFIED, and has OUTRAGED THE SPIRIT OF GRACE? (Hebrews 10:26-29)

“IF you love Me, you WILL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.” (John 14:15)

“BE FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH, and I WILL GIVE YOU THE CROWN OF LIFE.” (Revelation 2:10b)

And everyone who thus hopes in Him PURIFIES HIMSELF as He is pure. Everyone who MAKES A PRACTICE OF SINNING also PRACTICES LAWLESSNESS; sin is lawlessness. You know that He appeared in order to TAKE AWAY SINS, and in Him there is no sin. NO ONE who ABIDES IN HIM keeps on sinning; NO ONE WHO KEEPS ON SINNING HAS EITHER SEEN HIM OR KNOWN HIM. Little children, let no one deceive you. WHOEVER PRACTICES RIGHTEOUSNESS IS RIGHTEOUS, AS HE IS RIGHTEOUS. WHOEVER MAKES A PRACTICE OF SINNING IS OF THE DEVIL, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. NO ONE BORN OF GOD MAKES A PRACTICE OF SINNING, for God’s seed abides in him; and he CANNOT KEEP ON SINNING, because he has been born of God. BY THIS IT IS EVIDENT who are the CHILDREN OF GOD, and who are the CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL: WHOEVER DOES NOT PRACTICE RIGHTEOUSNESS IS NOT OF GOD, NOR IS THE ONE WHO DOES NOT LOVE HIS BROTHER. (I John 3:3-10)

Are you practicing RIGHTEOUSNESS, or SIN?

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘LORD, LORD,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER Who is in heaven. On that day many will say to Me, ‘LORD, LORD, did we not prophesy in Your name, and cast out demons in Your name, and do many mighty works in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I NEVER KNEW YOU; DEPART FROM ME, you WORKERS OF LAWLESSNESS.’” (Matthew 7:21-23)

“And this is eternal life, THAT THEY KNOW YOU, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” (John 17:3)

Anyone who does not love DOES NOT KNOW GOD, because God is love. (I John 4:8)

For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, they are AGAIN ENTANGLED IN THEM AND OVERCOME, the last state has become worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than AFTER KNOWING IT TO TURN BACK FROM THE HOLY COMMANDMENT DELIVERED TO THEM. What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.” (2 Peter 2:20-22)

Crazy times are upon us. There’s no denying it. Jesus Christ could very well crack the sky open and return quite soon. Our only recourse is to recognize our need for HIM – REPENT (turn from our own thinking/mindset/ways) – and SEEK GOD alone in His Word and prayer. Only HE can wake us up and reveal to us accurately the condition of our own heart, and the season we’re in.

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! (Psalm 46:10)

“YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN!”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the LORD our God will call.” (Acts 2:37-38)

Repent from your sins (= turn completely from your own ways) – Be baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ after repentance (Understanding the old you is DYING WITH CHRIST, and that you are RISING ANEW into a completely new life, to be lived as Christ determines from now on! Old things are PASSED AWAY – BEHOLD ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW!) Be filled with the Holy Spirit of God (This is not a feeling, but a LIFESTYLE of ABSOLUTE SURRENDER to Jesus Christ, and to being led moment by moment by His Holy Spirit!!) Please SURRENDER to JESUS CHRIST if you haven’t already! It’s not about religion! We must cast down EVERYTHING to do with SELF and ALL false religion and tradition that perverts the TRUTH of GOD’S WORD in ANY WAY, and SURRENDER TO GOD HIS WAY, as HE TELLS US TO in HIS WORD!

We MUST be done with ALL OTHER THINGS we’re leaning on. We CANNOT trust in SELF or OTHERS, ONLY GOD!

Thus says the LORD, “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the LORD… Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. (Jeremiah 17:5-8)

“Is there anything I need to get right with God?”

This should be at the forefront of our minds right now. ASK the LORD to show you anything you need to deal with, and TRUST Him to show you. He promises you’ll find Him IF/WHEN you seek Him with your WHOLE HEART. The time for that is now!

God is a righteous God! SIN CAN/WILL NOT ENTER HIS KINGDOM! WE MUST REPENT NOW BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE! HE’S STILL GIVING US TIME!

Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or His ear dull, that it cannot hear, but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. ( Isaiah 59:1-2)

Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. (Isaiah 55:6-9)

We must turn away from ALL OTHER ‘gods’ and ‘idols’, to the ONE TRUE GOD, who ALONE made heaven and earth, and is WORTHY of ALL GLORY HONOR AND PRAISE!

For our Gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance… And you became followers of the LORD, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit… Your faith toward God has gone out… how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come. (I Thessalonians 1:1-10)
